One Bedford Avenue

“The Avenue” is a new retail and commercial offering fronting on to Tottenham Court Road in London. We were asked to produce a series of images for marketing purposes, following the planning phase, so we had a discussion about the various highlights of the design and set to work.

Developers, Ashby Capital and Exemplar, turned to Stirling nominated architects Bennett’s Associates for the design which offers office space totalling 70,000 sq ft and 3 – 4 substantial retail units depending on tenancy requirements.

There were certain areas of focus we wanted to cover on this project, from the retail frontage along Tottenham Court Road and the separate office entrance/reception on Bedford Avenue, to the cascading terraces provided by the top floors. A bit of patience was required to get the photography right with firstly how busy TCR is and then getting the to heights required for the terrace shot. For this we turned to our favourite photographer John Maclean who swiftly dealt with all the issues and organised everything. Cheers John.

From there we worked closely with the client and Bennett’s to make sure details and materials were of the high quality demanded by the design and brought everything together in the final images.
